Columbia controls the three variables for a quality hot stamp impression:

#1 Pressure is developed by a double acting air cylinder controlled through an air pressure regulator.


*Optional with unit models, standard with bench model package.

#2 Heat is developed by high density cartridge heaters, assuring uniform heat distribution. Columbia offers a basic internal adjustable heat control thermo-switch, or thermocouple sensor for use with optional remote digital heat control.

#3 Dwell for individual units is controlled, in automation, by a timer in an existing on-line controller. For stand-alone marking machines, dwell is controlled by either a solid state or pneumatic adjustable timer.
