Air Impact markers have a unique feature – the impact force provided is much larger than other similar sized air cylinders. Because of this, the air impact markers become a great compact solution for other non-marking applications.
Basic Crimping
- Assemble two pieces together
- Deform thread
- Flatten wire
- Turn down edge
De-Flashing
- After Forging
- Remove extra metal
The marker used for the non-marking application is dependent on the force required. An easy empirical test can be performed with a hammer of a known weight on the workpiece in the form (temperature) for the application.

Yellow - 98, 298, 751
Orange - 851
Red - Not an impact application
