Q: What is the set screw size to hold the stamp/punch in the Model 78 Mite-E-Mark air impact marker? The set screw keeps falling out.
A: The set screw will fall out if reused. The set screw is very inexpensive should be coated with thread locker (CMT uses Permatex) or bought with nyloc. The size is 10-32 x 1/4 Long.
For operations that see alot of vibration or shock - CMT Suggest the use of the Pin and O ring Retention method to hold the stamp/punch in the pocket. GB and GA style rod.
