Model 78 Die Wear - CM7X

Last Update 8 个月前

The Model 78 round B-style rod utilizes the CM7X replaceable insert. The service life of the insert is dependent upon several application variables, including:

  • Material composition of the workpiece

  • Surface finish (rough or smooth)

  • Operating air pressure applied to the impact marker

Increased air pressure results in higher impact force but correspondingly reduces insert life expectancy.

Under standard operating conditions—1/8" character size, 40 psi air pressure, and a smooth steel marking surface—the CM7X insert provides an estimated service life exceeding 25,000 impressions.
